Power Animal Retrieval 🫎

Many indigenous cultures believe that we are each born with a Power Animal. Being human can be a difficult experience, and it can be easy for us to lose our way, so Spirit gives us a Power Animal to assist us in our journey. Our Power Animal sometimes holds an energy that feels unfamiliar to us, and as a result they can bring us a sense of harmony and balance.

Sometimes, though, we lose our Power Animal. This can happen for many reasons, the most common being trauma. Do you feel hopeless or powerless at times? Do you struggle to set boundaries or speak your truth? It may be time to call your Power Animal home.

If you are interested in experiencing a Power Animal Retrieval you may book an in-person or virtual session with me anytime.

If you’ve already completed a retrieval, check out the following ways to create a relationship with your Power Animal, integrate them into your life, and receive their wisdom and support.

Ways to Integrate Your Power Animal Retrieval:

  1. Hold the identification of your power animal as a sacred matter: Keep it private and don't reveal it to others if you want to keep it a sacred secret. You may share the identity of your power animal with people you trust if that feels good to you.

  2. Get a picture of your power animal: Place it somewhere visible, like near your bed, and greet your power animal every morning. Set your computer or phone background to an image of your power animal. Create or purchase artwork of your power animal.

  3. Honor a power animal totem or statue: Purchase or create an animal totem (figurine) or statue of your power animal. Place in a sacred place, wear as jewelry, or carry on your person.

  4. Invite your power animal to join you in nature: Ask your power animal to accompany you silently or aloud when you're out in nature. Visualize them or practice embodying their energy. How does it feel to walk a mile in their shoes?

  5. Learn about your power animal: Research its biology, habits, and diet. Understand what makes it unique and appreciate why it has come to help you. A wonderful website for this is https://www.whats-your-sign.com/

  6. Support the conservation of your power animal: If your power animal is on the endangered list, consider contributing to organizations that support its preservation.

  7. Share a meal with your power animal: Prepare and consume a meal that your power animal would enjoy every few months. This serves as a gesture of reciprocity. If your power animal lives in your local environment, leave a gift or meal for them (be considerate of their diet, your safety, and local wildlife regulations).

  8. Seek guidance and protection from your power animal: Call upon your power animal in times of need or uncertainty, especially when you need to connect to your own power and boundaries. Pay attention to any responses in ordinary reality.

  9. Express gratitude before retiring for the night: Thank your power animal for walking with you during the day and invite it to stay with you through the night if it wishes.

  10. Dance your power animal: Regularly embody the energy of your power animal through dance, which helps strengthen your connection.
